Shot during the first hours of the morning by the beach at Fintas, Kuwait. It’s a Ramadan weekend, and the beach was actually crowded by people who chose to have their Suhoor (late night supper) and stay a bit after the Fajer prayer before the sun makes the place to hot to stay longer. The dusty atmosphere made the lighting a perfect shooting opportunity.
Shot with a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera and a Lumix G 14-42 mm lens. The raw footage was edited with Adobe Premiere.

فيديو قمت بتصويره بلحظات الشروق الأولى على شاطئ الفنطاس في الكويت. صباح يوم جمعة رمضاني، حيث يزدحم الشاطئ بمرتاديه من عشاق السهر. الأجواء الصيفية المغبرة أضفت على التصوير جوا وألوانا مميزة، كما أنها أطفأت من حرارة الشمس المشرقة… قليلا.

Think Dubai, or search it on Google, and the first images that strike you are of high-rise towers, hotels and glassy buildings. Most of the available images of Dubai are taken with the camera pointing up towards that tall tower or far towards that lovely sunset by the beach or the horizon of the desert, or selfies set in front of them. But what about the people?
من المعضلات التي أواجهها على الإنستاجرام هي إيجاد أناس “محليين” لأتابعهم، بالطبع فإن لكل منا معايير لنوعية الحسابات التي يحرص على متابعتها، وهي معايير تختلف من شخص لآخر، بالنسبة لي يجب أن يكون من أتابعه يقدم صورا من تصويره وليست مجمعة من جوجل أو الوتسآب أو غيرها من المصادر، كما يجب أن تكون الصور “جميلة” وفيها نوع من الإبداع، ويجب أن لا تكون صورا مشبعة بالفلاتر الفوتوشوبية أو غيرها بشكل يخرجها من روحها الطبيعية، ويفضل كذلك أن تكون غالبيتها مصورة بكاميرا الهاتف وليست صورا احترافية… ولكن قد أتنازل عن الشرط الأخير إن كانت الصور ذات مستوى ممتاز.
هناك بالطبع أشخاص يمكن أن أتنازل عن جميع الشروط السابقة من أجلهم وهم الأهل والأصدقاء المقربين، ولكن حتى هؤلاء قد يفيض بي الكيل وأحرمهم من تفضلي بمتابعتهم أحيانا إذا مصّخوها 🙂
هناك شرط أخير هام جد – وهو محور هذا البوست – وهو ألا يكون الحساب مقفولا أو برايڤت.
