My photo stream on Flick is becoming darker and darker with all the night photographs I’ve been uploading lately. This ‘dark’ period is only natural these days since it’s winter and the day is too short to do anything photographic. Add to that my loving to the quality on the high ISO results of the Canon 5D Mark II 🙂
The pictures of this set are from the Christmas Market trip with the photosoc on 4/12/2009. The Christmas Market, or Frankfurt Market as it is also know, is a yearly event in Birmingham. The City Centre is transformed into a place so fun and festive, and you can see that reflected in the faces of almost everyone of the crowd.
I used a Canon 5D Mark II with a Canon 85mm f/1.8, and the Sigma 50mm f/2.8 Macro for few shots. Most of the pictures were shot with ISO 800 to 1600, and I think I only needed to use a noise reduction filter for one picture, so I’m very happy for that.
