Can you see what I’m trying to do?
Looking at countless number of blogs through the years I found out that there are three types of blogs :
1) Everyday New Post Blog: The blogger feels like he have to write a new thing everyday no matter what. Most of the time these are the blogs which are filled with the biggest amount useless rubbish! It might be funny.. it might be entertaining (in a voyeuristic kind of way). But unless you are a really good writer with lots of things to say people will loose interest in the everyday great adventures of yours (or your daughter!) after exactly two days.. and thats a scientific fact!
2) Good Little Slow Blog: The blogger is either (a) don’t have much to say, or (b) have a lot to say but doesn’t have time to say it. Or a mix of the two. These are the kind of blogs that you add to your RSS reader (you know what an rss reader is, right?). The owner gets a lot of time to think about what his next post will be about.. so it better be good (unless he is a bad writer.. which is another story).
3) The Dead and Forgotten Blog: This is the handy work of a very enthusiastic (thank Allah.. then thank you spell checker :D) blogger (or wannabe blogger) who think he is Fuad Al Hashem or Anees Mansoor.. so he start a blog, write his first masterpiece followed by few others, then… bye bye blog.
Now I’m trying hard not to have the #3 blog.. and please hit me with a long salty water soaked stick before my blog become #1!

I wrote something.. and it wasn’t that bad..
So my blog is alive.. and it’s not full of rubbish ..

may i add a forth type of blogs?; a blog of diaries, a place to share thoughts, hopes, depressions and worries. anyhow, the keyword for a good blog i think was/is being spontaneous! as long as i feel the blogger is spontaneous i will keep reading for him/her. once s\he starts pretending to be someone else then its fineto! goodbye! i am not coming here again!
my blogging experience was limited in term of time, yet, i am proud that it introduced me to some good brothers and sisters.

do you know that I have msn msn and yesterday I deleted all the blogs which I posted them in the space !
if you asked me why >> becouse I feel that they are old and I have to put them in a trash Can
Sometimes you wrote things without thinking
and what you write depends on what you feel
so it depends on your mode

Almost all personal blogs are about diaries. But what are these diaries and thoughts about? and how important or interesting are they for me?
I mean -for me- reading what a person did or where he/she went for dinner with the family tonight is nothing but a waste of time, unless this person is really funny.. or he discovered a fundamentally important scientific invention during his journey to the diner 🙂 .

Maybe instead of killing your blog you should start taking good care of it.. because writing is always good.
It’s always good to write your thoughts (at least that what they say). But what thoughts should one make public? That’s the question..
In general .. as long as there’s a real “thought” behind a post then it’s most likely that this post is worth reading.
نقد محتوى المواقع الشخصية صار مبالغ فيه جدا
الناس احرار فيما يكتبون، ما هو سخيف بالنسبة لي، قيم لغيري
لما ننقد بكثرة يجد الكثير من الأشخاص حرجا في كتابة ما يجول في خاطره خشية عدم تقبل الآخرين لأسلوبه أو أفكاره و اهتماماته
و كثير منهم يغلق موقعه بعد فترة لأنه (خيب) ظن (الذويقه)
اكتب بحرية ما تشاء ، أنت دافع من جيبك فلوس عشان تحجز هالمساحة ، لا تطلب ارضاء أحد
و لا تأبه للأخطاء الإملائية
قدر أفكارك فهي قيمة، و إن ازدراها الآخرون
نحن لا نحتاج خيازرين منقعه بماي و ملح عشان نكتب
نحن لثقة بآراءنا

و من قالك لا تكتب .. و من قال للناس لا تكتبون؟
مثل ما قلت لأخي النهام ، الكتابة (بالنسبة للكاتب) دائما شيء جيد مهما كان محتواها ، و نقدي هنا يمثل وجهة نظري الشخصية بنوع معين من الكتابات .. و هي الكتابة فقط لملئ المدونة دون اعتبار للمحتوى أو الرسالة أو الهدف.
كما إني لم أقصد بكلامي أن أسلوب حشو المدونات “بالخرابيط” هو إمر سيء بحد ذاته ، و أنما قصدت بأن هذا النوع من المدونات -بأغلب الأحيان- ليس لديه القوة الجاذبة التي تجعل الزائر يعود للموقع مرة بعد مرة و ينتظر جديده على أحر من الجمر ، أولا لأن هناك ما هو جديد يوميا و دون انقطاع أو راحة كافية ، و ثانيا لأن الكتابة اليومية فن صعب جدا و الأصعب منه هو المحافظة على مستوى مقبول من القيمة الأدبية (إن صح التعبير) و الإثارة التي تشد القارئ و تعيده مرارا و تكرارا.
أنا انتقدت ما هو سخيف برأيي .. و أعني بذلك المدونات من النوع 1 ، فإن كنت ترى أن رأيي بحد ذاته هو أمر “سخيف” فلك الحق بذلك .. لن أزعل و لن أغلق موقعي 😀
و هذا يجب أن يكون موقف أي كاتب مدونات .. لا أن يغلق موقعه لأن أحد ما ليس معجبا به !
أكتب ما تشاء .. أنت حر .. و لكن لا تتوقع من كل الناس أن يعجبوا بما تقول
بالنسبة لي شخصيا فأنا أرغب بأن أضع موقعي و مدونتي بمستوى معين من الجودة و القيمة الأدبية ، فلا أرغب بأن يصبح موقعي ساحة للسوالف و التحلطم و اليوميات المملة و غير المفيدة ، بل أريد موقعا مفيدا و مثيرا و جاذبا للزوار المثقفين من أمثالك و أمثال بقية الأخوة الأفاضل 🙂
و إن رأيتني قد حدت عن هذا الطريق .. فنقع خيازرينك 😀
يا بو دانة ، أنا كتبت هذا الرد و موضوعي في موقعي كان بسبب قرائتي للكثير من النقد و التشرط في الكثير من المواقع ، خصوصا نقد المدونات الشخصية
صراحة ما تعرف شو يبغون بالضبط
و اتفق معاك في جودة الكتابة و المواضيع ، و لكن هذا الأمر لا يمكن اكتسابه في يوم و ليلة
لابد من التخبط ، هذه هي الضريبة
و لو قمت بزيارة أي مدونة و دخلت أرشيفها و قرات أول مواضيعها راح تجد نفس التخبط ، و في غضون عشر شهور تجد أن الأمر تغير و تطور الأسلوب و الفكر و عمرموقعك بالزوار
و حتى الأخطاء الإملائية تختفي مع الوقت!

ما الذي يجعل الموضوع ممتعا و مفيدا؟
أسلوب السرد
قد تكون سالفة بسيطة عن يوميات شخصية أو تحلطم ،و لكن الأسلوب رائع عفوي و له مغزى
أو حتى لا يهدف إلى لرسم ابتسامه على وجه قارئه…طبعا ما أقصد الكوميديا السودا المليقة
و قد أخبرك عن تقنية جديدة و لكن يصعبك عليك قراءة جملتين على بعضهم بسبب الأسلوب الجامد في الطرح

Thanks brother for the summary, truely I thought that blogs just diarie as Zinc mentioned, but what I discovered was totally different. Therefore, thanks again for your breif post that convey what I have in my mind.
